Robert Combas drew on pear wood, then a master engraver intervened to make the savings size. The printing was then carried out on a Miehle press dating from 1911.

This print was produced by the DPJ workshop on rag paper from a typographic press on wire wood by a master engraver from the original drawing that Robert Combas realized as the first bombs fell on Kharkiv.
