Herve Di Rosa

Herve Di Rosa is a French painter, born in Sète, co-founder of the artistic movement of "Free Figuration" alongside François Boisrond, Rémi Blanchard and Robert Combas. Conceptor of Modest Art, he founded in 2000, in Sète, the International Museum of Modest Arts (MIAM).

His iconic caricatures have been described by critics as bold, loud, crass, sexual and expressionist, but always in keeping with the pop spirit. Cartoons, folk art and primitive art greatly influence his painting. He has also diversified his artistic approaches in contact with artisans in a world tour of several years.
