Admired by his peers, including Philip Glass ou Todd Terry, for his solo work but also for having formed the groups Dinosaur L et Loose Joints in the 80s and co-founded the label Sleeping Bag Records (Mantronix, Larry Levan, Patrick Adams, EPMD, Joyce Sims, Todd Terry etc). He died of AIDS in 1992, leaving behind a unique body of work between Dance Music and Avant-Garde. This compilation brings together his classics as well as rare titles, accompanied by detailed notes.
